Description
“Arie!” Sara shouted, terrified of what he was becoming. She was not sure what was happening, but she knew it was bad.
Max and Shetarrah rushed inside to help, but because of her injuries, Avalon trailed behind, struggling to overcome the rubble out front.
“Ah!” The earth shook and dust fell from the ceiling. Outside, distant screams rode howling winds, and Arie began to pulsate with intense, red energy; dropping down to one knee. “Ah, damn it!” He struggled to control this power, but his whole spirit began to tremble.
“Arie!” The princess stepped closer through the dust whipping wind. It feels like the rage inside him is threatening to tear him apart! “Arie, what is happening!?” Past her fear, she ran to him and through her glossy eyes she could see something was terribly wrong.
Max grabbed her, pulling her back. “No, stay back! Everyone needs to get out now!” he ordered the others.
She pushed him away though and hurried closer to Arie, looking into such unnatural eyes. “Please, tell me what is wrong!”
