Uninspired as I was,
I needed a subject to draw, and maybe even a new project....
Then you begin to wonder.... what if..... blablablabla etc...
So here's my "what if...":
What if all the people we know oh so well from all those marvel comics and series weren't fictional...
but real people like you and me....
What would they look like????
I know... I know.... we have all those fancy smancy movies..
But they're just not good enough....
nothing can ever compare to the originals....
(Besides....famous actors are hardly ever good enough for such characters... IMHO)
So here's the first out of the new series:
My personal all time favorite character
ROGUE
________
Rogue (Anna Marie) is a Marvel Comics superhero, a member of the X-Men.
Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Michael Golden,
she first appeared in Avengers Annual #10 (August 1981).
More than most mutants, Rogue considers her powers a curse.
She involuntarily absorbs the memories, physical strength, and,
in the case of super-powered persons, abilities of anyone she touches. T
his prevents her from making physical contact with others, including her longtime love interest Gambit.
Hailing from Mississippi, she is the X-Men's self-described southern belle.
A runaway, she was adopted by Mystique of the Brotherhood of Mutants
but turned to the X-Men when the aftereffects of her repeated use of her mutant power -
particularly the permanent absorption of Ms. Marvel's psyche and Kree powers - threatened her sanity.
Rogue has been a popular and consistent member of the X-Men since the 1980s.
She has been featured in most X-Men animated series and video games.
In the X-Men film series she is portrayed by Anna Paquin.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
