- Sara and Magnar -

The pleasant smell of the warm ocean breeze entered into the room through a large round window and surrounded her. She sighed and started humming a tune long forgotten as she began skimming through her books of study until Magnar fluttered in to roost on his perch by the window.

Magnar was her greatest work. In an ancient ritual, she had brought this lost soul back from the sea, by taking a part of her own spirit to make him whole again. Although in just the form of a little bird, he was the noblest and most trustworthy friend.
